Wild Eco Day Retreat

Our half day retreat held in honour of World Earth Day will include a meditation, yoga, nature connectedness and elements of woodland bathing with a raw plant-based salad and herbal teas to nourish us all. 

This is an opportunity to come back to yourself, make time for you, connect with nature and step into your Eco Mindset, you will be held safely within the grounds of Old Wood Organic CIC, Skellingthorpe.

Featuring a screening of the Six Inches Of Soil film and a Q&A with Anna Jackson (Pink Pig Farm) and Hannah Thorogood (Inkpot Farm), at our new Community Sustainability Hub at Wilderspin National School, Barton. With a light supper for all.

Zero Waste Café - Eco Mindset Course

Barton Great Big Green Week

Barton Great Big Green Week is a community festival hosted by Slow Circular Earth UK. Raising awareness for climate change in Barton-Upon-Humber and surrounding villages.

The Barton Great Big Green Week, organised by members of our community, will be running from the 8th to 16th June 2024. The Green Week will be a celebration of everything people in Barton are doing to improve our local environment and tackle climate change, as well as a call for our government to do more.

Zero Waste Food Club

A community café offering a FREE family cooking event making nutritious meals from surplus ingredients.

Thanks to Barton Town Council for the start up phase, Co-op Warm Spaces Fund Boost and our supporters for your help with our Crowdfunder. 

Through 2023 this Zero Waste Café Pop-Up was held at St Mary’s Church Hall, Burgate, Barton-Upon-Humber.

Totally Locally Brigg Eco Fair

Promotes recycling, shopping locally with environmentally friendly products and services.

It offers a range of eco products from local suppliers: toiletries, household goods, a Zero Waste Café, Repair Café, Men In Shed’s, seed donations and other environmental promotions.

One River : One Community

As part of Humber Eco Fest 2023, we joined up with Hull Friends of the Earth and Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust to welcome cyclists from over the Humber Bridge to Far Ings Nature Reserve. Our guests were served sustainable refreshments and partook in a short guided wellbeing walk.

Our Zero Waste Café popped up as part of the Wilder Lincolnshire Festival at Doddington Hall over the weekend of 23rd and 24th September.

Vinyl Café Lincoln

We can’t wait to welcome you to our Vinyl Café event in Lincoln.

It’s part of SoundLincs UpBEAT! Supporting Mental Health Through Music Programme and is an evening for people to come and share their favourite tunes, chat, drink coffee (other beverages are also available!) and listen to some crackin’ live music.

The event is being supported by Slow Circular Earth UK who will be providing some tasty beverages and healthy snacks-all free of charge! The event is Pay What You Can on the door and is open to everyone with a love of music-so dust off that Vinyl, dig out your dancing shoes and join us down there. There is also going to be a magical musical tombola-what more could you want!
